Arcem Studio (“Arcem Studio,” “we,” “us”) is a web design agency headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
We collect only what we need: first, to answer enquiries and prepare proposals, which we do under our legitimate interest before any contract exists; second, to execute client projects and issue invoices, which is necessary for the contract itself; third, to send curated updates or request feedback, which we do on the basis of consent or legitimate interest; fourth, to maintain security and gather analytics on arcem.studio, relying on legitimate interest or, for analytics cookies, your explicit consent; and finally, to comply with Swiss accounting rules and EU/CH legal obligations.
The information we handle includes contact details such as name, email address and telephone number; any project assets and credentials you provide; billing data like postal address, VAT/UID and Stripe transaction IDs; site-usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected through Google Analytics and Hotjar; and any additional information you choose to include in forms or emails.
Our site uses first-party, analytics and marketing cookies. Please consult our separate Cookie Policy for a detailed list of each cookie and the options available to you for opting out.
We never sell personal information. Data is shared only with trusted service providers like Google Workspace, Notion, Stripe, Webflow, Framer and similar platforms who process it under data-processing agreements or Standard Contractual Clauses.
When a provider is located outside Switzerland or the EEA, we rely either on the Swiss or EU adequacy decisions for that country or on Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard your information.
Enquiry records are kept for twelve months after our last contact, client files for ten years in line with Swiss accounting law, analytics data for twenty-six months (Google’s default) and encrypted backups are rotated every thirty days.
Data is protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest in Webflow and Framer. Access follows a strict “least-privilege” principle, meaning only the team member who needs a file can open it, and all accounts are secured by two-factor authentication. Back-ups are deleted automatically after thirty days.
Under the Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR you may request access to, correction or erasure of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for portability of the data you have provided. Simply email contact@arcem.studio; we respond within thirty days.
Our services are not directed at anyone under sixteen and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
